Please contact our Will Li at ext. 2645 or email iswill@ust.hk or helpdesk issupprt@ust.hk for technical support.   *If you are using our earlier version of HKUST Staff app, please CLOSE or UNINSTALL it before updating to the new staff mobile app.

iOS:

* With a more stringent cybersecurity rule imposed by Apple, you may need to login at the second time to enable the DUO remember my device for 21 days feature.

Android:

With this new app, you will enjoy the touch/face ID feature to simplify your login whenever your mobile device supports.  Together, you will have a newer look to manage your staff related activities, not only those in the old version of the staff app such as applications of leave, inquiry of leave balance and details, approval of leave and travel applications, and submission of attachment to expense claims, etc. but also the following:

  • Access in Home page your subscribed University events
  • Customize in Home page your personalized shortcuts to our app features
  • Access your own e-Identity
  • In your “My Profile” view your basic employee data with the University (edit of basic data similar to Employee Self Service will be coming)
  • Access and submit eForms online (now visitor pre-registration form and more will be coming and we welcome suggestions)
  • Access the Staff Directory and find your colleague easily online
  • Book facilities online as easy as using our online Facility Booking System
  • Find shops and transportation info
  • Useful links to some common mobile app for staff

We are arranging a briefing session via zoom at 2:30-3:00pm on 1/12 (Tue) in which we will share with you some more tips in using the new mobile app.  Please mark your calendar if you are interested.

More features, such as Push Messaging, Display of Indoor Air Quality, Adding Personalized web links, etc. will be coming in the next couple of months and please stay tuned with the app updates.

Finally, please share with us your feedbacks and improvement suggestions to the new mobile app via email to issupprt@ust.hk.
